Brown rice with pulses
Ingredients
1/2 cup Brown rice
1/2 tbsp Urad dal
1/2 tbsp Tuvar dal
1/2 tbsp Channa dal
1 inch Ginger
4 Green Chillies
5 Red Chillies
1 sprig Curry leaves
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
1/2 tsp Sesame oil
Salt to taste
Method
1.Soak the rice in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes.
2.Soak the dals in water for 30 minutes and drain.
3.Grind the rice, all pulses with ginger, chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida,
salt and 2-3 tsp of water into dropping consistent batter.
4.Heat a griddle and pour 1 tbsp of batter, spread outerly in circular motion like dosas.
5.Pour the oil around the edges and cook for 40-45 second until turns to light brown.
6.Flip the other side and cook until done.
7.Remove and serve hot with honey.
