How to Make Vengaaya kuzhambu Recipe
Ingredients
Onion ( small ) : ½ kilo
Dry red chilli : 8
Coriander seeds : 6 spoon
Tamarind : a lemon sized ball
Fenugreek : ½ spoon
Coconut : ½
Oil : 6 spoon
Mustard : 1 spoon
Jaggery : a small piece
Salt : as needed
Curry leaves : as needed
Turmeric powder : 1 spoon
Method
Vengaaya kuzhambu Recipe
Peel skin of onion and cut into two.
Soak tamarind in water, prepare extract and strain.
Grate coconut.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Add chilli, coriander seeds, fenugreek and fry.
Grind coconut, fried items to a paste.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Add mustard, onion and fry.
Add tamarind, salt, turmeric powder, jaggery and boil well.
When onion is cooked, add ground masala, boil well.
When oil floats above the contents, remove the pan from the stove.
