Ingredients for aval dosa:
• Rice- 3 cups
• Poha (atukulu)- 3/4th cup
• Urad dal (minna pappu)- 1/4th cup
• Pearl sago (sabudan)- 1 tbsp

For making Poha Dosa wash rice & Urad dal ,remove any stones or any other dirt .Soak rice,Poha,Urad dal & pearl sago together for at least four hours –In a mixer grind them finely to a smooth paste ,add salt & let the batter ferment for overnight (salt you can add later also )

Making poha dosai in right shape & quality is an art which could be aquired from experience ,the important thing is that you should control the heat of your pan ,otherwise your poha dosai will get burned .
Take a non stick or normal thick iron pan ,pour some batter & don’t spread it to too thin .Add some oil ,close the lide & after a minute flip the side & cook it – Now your Poha dosa is to be served with chutneys or with bhajees .
